Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting attorney, Haley E. Medley. Haley served as a Rule 31 Mediator in two domestic relations’ cases of mine, and both bases settled amicably. They were both cases that I thought would not settle, but Haley helped us mediate both difficult cases. I was so impressed with Haley’s intelligence and her ability to communicate that I offered her a position as an associate attorney at Phillips & Ingrum. Luckily for our law firm and for our clients, Haley accepted the offer. Since Haley has been working at Phillips & Ingrum, I have continued to be impressed with her.
Haley Medley is a 2007 graduate of Brenau University Women’s College in Gainesville, Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration/Accounting. At Brenau, Haley was elected Treasurer her freshman year, and Class President during her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Also, she served as President of the Students of Free Enterprise, was on the Greek Council Board, was a Recruitment Counselor, was a Golden S.T.A.R., and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, serving as Secretary, New Member Educator, and head of Alumnae Relations.
For law school, Haley attended University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina, and she received her Juris Doctor in 2010. While in law school, Haley served as the Student Bar Association Representative and as a 1L (First Year Law Student) Mentor.
Her accounting degree landed Haley her first job out of law school when she served as Finance Officer for the Davidson County Juvenile Court Clerk in Nashville, Tennessee from November of 2010 until October of 2012. She left there to start her own private practice in Nashville. After a year practicing on her own, Haley joined the Fleming Law Firm in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Over the years, Haley’s practice has included domestic relations/divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, adoption, grandparents’ rights, dependency and neglect, Rule 31 mediation, and entertainment law. Haley has gained significant trial experience over the years, and has handled cases in several counties in Middle Tennessee.
Phillips & Ingrum is very excited to welcome Haley E. Medley to our law firm. Here at Phillips & Ingrum we operate as a team and we treat each other and our clients like family. We know that Haley is going to be a huge asset to our firm and to our clients. We could not be more proud to have Haley as a part of our Phillips & Ingrum family!
